Curry Leaves Chicken Fry / Sukka

About:

Hey... hope all are doing good. Coming up is chicken curry leaves fry or sukka. Sukka is neither a  fry nor gravy it is semi gravy style, generally done with coconut as main ingredient i have tried with curry leaves. Try it and enjoy eating .... :)


Ingredients:


Cut Green Chili - 1 no
Lengthwise cut onion - 1 cup
Tomato - 1 no
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Chili Powder - 1 tsp
Cashew Powder - 1 tsp
Salt

To Marinate And Fry:
Boneless Chicken - 1 lb / 1/2 kg
Maida /all purpose flour- 2 tsp
Corn flour -2 tsp
Ginger & Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
Egg -1 no
salt

To Roast and Grind :
oil
Black whole pepper - 1 tsp
Cinnamon - 1 inch
Cloves - 1 tsp
Star Anise /- 1 no
Mace - 1 no
Jeera - 1 tsp
Green Chilli - 2 nos
Curry Leaves - 1cup

For Seasoning:
Black whole pepper - 1/2 tsp
Cinnamon - 1 inch
Star Anise - 1 no
Black Cardamom - 1 no
Jeera - 1/2 tsp
Curry Leaves - 1 handful





Method:


Step 1: In a deep vessel add the ingredients given in To Marinate And Fry mix well marinate for 30 minutes in refrigerator, deep fry them and keep it aside .


 


 

Step 2: In  pan add oil add the ingredients given in To roast and grind, saute well allow it to cool down, grind well as a paste.


 

Step 3: In pan add oil and the ingredients given in For seasoning allow it to splutter, add the green chilies, onions saute well, add the tomatoes, turmeric powder, chili powder. Saute well.


 

Step 4: Add the paste we did in step 2 , saute well then add the fried chicken step 1 , add little water allow it to cook for 5 - 10  minutes , finally add the cashew powder.


 

Serve with briyani, chapatti or pulka.
