Tindora Fry

Tindora Fry :- (கோவக்காய் பொறியல்)




Preparation Time : 10 mins
Cooking Time :15 mins
Serves : 2

Ingredients:

Tindora (cut lengthwise)
Salt

To Roast & Grind:

  • Toor Dal -4 tsp
  • Channa Dal - 3 tsp
  • Fenugreek - 1/2 tsp
  • Whole pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • Dried Red Chilli - 5 nos
  • Coriander Seeds - 3/4 tsp

For Seasoning:

  • Oil
  • Mustard Seeds
  • Urad Dal
  • Asfoetida Powder

Method:

Step 1: In pan add the ingredients given in to roast and grind. Toss till u get the aroma of the ingredients, allow it to cool and grind as powder without water.




Step 2: In pan add the for seasoning ingredients and allow it to splutter , Then add the tindora. Close the pan to cook well.



Step 3: Add the grind powder,salt with the cooked tindora. Add some oil, mix well and put the stove in medium flame till it is fried well .




Serve hot with Sambar rice  or Curd rice :)
